Course Overview

Jointly offered by Computer Science (CS) and Visual Communications Design (VCD) at Kent State University, this is the third course in the WDP sequence, following WDP-I and WDP-II. The course is designed for learning through doing real website projects. Students take this course to learn advanced techniques for website creation, design, programming, and integration in a team-based environment and to learn the Web related systems, languages, and protocols that support advanced applications.

This course is part of the WDP minor in the CS and VCD departments. For details see the requirements for CS majors and the requirements for VCD majors.

Students who have taken Web Design and Programming II may register. Other CS and VCD majors with sufficient background may register after obtaining instructor permission. Enrollment is limited to about 12 students.
